It is with a heavy heart that I have to inform you today that we will not be able to hold our festival around the recorder and its music in May 2020. I am sorry to inform you that none of the planned events can take place.

We will try to postpone the whole festival programme by one year, and I would also like to stick to the great performers and programmes. So: the new dates are 13-16 May 2021 at www.blockfloetenfesttage.de !

In 2020 we offer you the visit of 4 half-hour lessons in which several professors will teach the active participants. Michala Petri, a surprise guest and Maurice Steger are the instructors. It will be an informative party for everyone.

• Lecture 1: a teenaged recorder pupil
• Lecture 2: You, dear audience! Please take along an alto recorder in 440 Hz – you will be given tips by Michala Petri and our surprise guest on topics such as sound, recorder fingering and articulation. All are welcome to join us!
• Lecture 3: a recorder player
• Lecture 4: a professional recorder player
