Welcome to the new season!

Welcome to the new season! We are delighted to present to you a number of exciting concerts featuring Maurice Steger over the coming weeks.

This summer, the collaboration with the wonderfully spirited La Cetra Barockorchester developed into a harmonious whole – the musicians will now be joining forces to perform one of the last presentations of the concert programme “Souvenirs d’Italie” in Kiel, 24th October.

Telemann’s concertos for diverse instruments can once more be enjoyed. Together with the instrumental ensemble Lautten Compagney Berlin, Maurice Steger will be giving a guest performance at the wonderful La Chaux-de-Fonds theatre on 26 October.

Baroque and modernity, dark and light, transparency and opacity all come together in this intimate concert with the brilliant recorder virtuoso Maurice Steger and the Munich Chamber Orchestra. In Munich’s inviting Prinzregententheater, an exciting programme awaits you, including works by Tippet, Hosokawa, Riley and Vivaldi.

The time has come at last: the ensemble I Barocchisti and their conductor Diego Fasolis as well as the lively concert master Fiorenza de Donatis will be performing together with Maurice Steger. There will be two concerts, one in Italian-speaking Switzerland (Lugano, RSI on 1 November) and one in French-speaking Switzerland. Welcome! Geneva, Victoria Hall,

How wonderful that Maurice Steger will be continuing his cherished residency at the Vienna Musikverein – this time, we will be celebrating à la française: together with Hille Perl on the viola da gamba and Diego Ares on the harpsichord, Maurice Steger will be performing works by Telemann, Marais, de la Barre and Corelli.
