We are pleased to introduce you to a new musical partner of Maurice Steger: Jean Rondeau.
The two musicians will be giving some duo recitals in Asia and Europe. Look forward to their upcoming concerts in Ulsan on the 22nd of November and in Seoul on the 24th of the same month. In 2017 they will be playing at the Schleswig Holstein Musikfestival and at Wigmore Hall in London.
With six years of age, Jean Rondeau discovered the sound of the harpsichord listening to the radio. For ten years he studied harpsichord with Blandine Verlet, then also took classes in basso continuo, organ, piano, composition, jazz and improvisation and finished his postgraduate studies at the Paris Conservatory and at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London with distinction: Jean Rondeau , born in 1991, is by no accident the youngest winner of the Harpsichord competition of Musica Antiqua festival in Bruges (2012) and winner of the European Union Baroque Orchestra Development Trust Awards. His career ignited once his first album appeared with ERATO WARNER.
We expect to be hearing much more from this young man!
