We are delighted to draw your attention to some wonderful orchestra concerts. In the coming weeks, Maurice Steger will conduct exclusive repertoire with esteemed ensembles, perform exquisite pieces, and celebrate music at the highest level – a feast for the senses!

Ludwigshafen and Kaiserslautern (DE) Feierabendhaus & Fruchthalle, 19th-21st March: With these three concerts, Maurice Steger concludes his residency at the BASF Concerts. Experience the Deutsche Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz in the Meeting Point London Haymarket project with works by HĂ€ndel, Sammartini, and Haydn’s Surprise Symphony. Frankfurt (DE) hr-Sendesaal, 27th/28th March: Brandenburg Concertos 1–6 by Johann Sebastian Bach, performed by a fantastic ensemble with the hr Symphony Orchestra. The title, in French, captures it perfectly: Six Concerts avec plusieurs instruments—the name Bach himself gave to his famous concert series. Swiss recorder virtuoso and conductor Maurice Steger presents them all, each a masterpiece in its own right. Heidelberg (DE) auditorium of the Neue UniversitĂ€t, 11th April: Sparkling vocal and instrumental music from Venice and the opera scene in Naples. A joyous reunion and the first collaboration in Europe between Maurice Steger and the stunning soprano Emöke BarĂĄth will take place at the Heidelberger FrĂŒhling festival, featuring works by HĂ€ndel, Graun, Hasse, Scarlatti, Vivaldi, Sarro, and Vinci.
