We wish you a peaceful Advent season with many good moments and beautiful music. Maurice Steger cordially invites you to a number of concerts in December, which we would like to mention here in particular:
On December 7, a Neapolitan night will be given in Baeza in southern Spain, look forward to Tiente Nouvo with Ignacio Prego and Maurice Steger in concerts by Fiorenza, Leo and Sarro.
Maurice Steger can be heard twice more in December with the La Cetra Barockorchester Basel in works by Johann Sebastian Bach and Georg Philipp Telemann. In Coesfeld and in the impressive and sonically delightful Rudolph Oetker Halle in Bielefeld, the newly released CD with Bach’s works will also be presented. Visit the concert on 19. 12.
Together with Einat Aronstein, Christmas is celebrated musically in Trier: Bach’s Orchestral Suite No. 4, arias by Handel and Hasse and Maurice Steger in the double function as conductor and recorder player with Christmas baroque music from Naples are on the program.
And the recorder player will perform 4 times in Switzerland. On 17 December in Zurich Altstetten, the focus will be on an interesting combination of instruments: the baroque horn and the baroque recorder. Rarities will be played here as well as well-known works by Vivaldi. Visit the Westspiele.
We invite you to the Canton of Aargau at the end of the year and on New Year’s Eve. In Boswil there will be two performances on New Year’s Eve afternoon and early evening, from the Teuefelstrillersonate to the Follia and on New Year’s Day we welcome you to Brugg at 2 pm.
